Wide Open Throttle Video Contest

Wide Open Throttle Mustangs, time to make a club video! WOTMC needs a great video to show off our club and its great members. So we are putting together a video contest open to any member. Very simple contest, all you have to do is make a 4 min or longer video of the club that includes music, pics, and any footage of us cruising or racing. Please no music with cussing or vulgar language. Humor is more than welcomed and ask that the video be on youtube. Submit your video by Sept 1^st. Voting will begin on Sept 2^nd and will be open until Sept 5^th. The winner will receive a WOTMC coffee mug, work shirt, and 400 points.

June 16: Ricer Night in Swansboro. WOTMC will meet up at Piggly Wiggly in Swansboro at 6:30 pm to hang out and promote the club. (75 pts)

June 19: RWHP Track Day at Coastal Plains Raceway. Let's go out and hang out with the GM boys from RWHP.us and show them how it’s done. Race fee is $25 for grudge racing from 10am to 2 pm. WOTMC will meet up at Wal Mart parking lot in the Southwest area at 9am to leave at 9:15 am for the track. After racing we will head out for late lunch (TBD the day of). (100 pts to watch additional 150 pts to run)

June 26th: WOTMC will watch some Land Speed Runs!!! WOTMC will be heading to Maxton NC to watch East Coast Timing Association land speed event. Meet spot will be at Dicks Sporting Goods parking lot in Jacksonville at 7am and we will depart at 715 am. Admission is $10 Please bring a brown bag special and drinks for lunch (not sure if they will have food on site). On the way home we will stop for dinner (TBD). (300pts)

July 14: Duo Ricer Night!! WOTMC will host two ricer nights in one!!! One will be at the Books A Million parking lot in New Bern and the other at the K-mart parking in Wilmington (college rd). Both meets will start at 6:30pm. Let’s see who can pull the most cars!!! (100pts, 50 bonus pts for members with the most mustangs in their group, 25 points for individual members who bring out a non-member Mustang out)

July 18: Pre-Mustang Week meet, WOTMC will meet at Northeast Creek Park (near Holiday City Mobile park) to discuss Mustang Week events at 1pm. This will be a BBQ gathering so come out hungry!! (75pts)

July 23-25 MUSTANG WEEK!!! WOTMC will be meeting on Friday July 23rd at the Food Lion Parking lot near the Air Station gate (hwy 17) at 630am to head to Myrtle Beach for Mustang Week at 6:45am. For Saturday July 24th the remaining WOTMC members will meet at the same time at the same place to head to Myrtle Beach. We will have a set schedule of meet spots and times while the club is there. Those times and meet spots will be handed out during the July 18 meet or via email (on request). (350pts)

August 1^st: WOTMC 2 YR anniversary!!!!! Happy 2yrs Wide Open Throttle Mustangs!!! To celebrate we will be taking a cruise from Jacksonville to Morehead City (scenic route). Once in Morehead we will cross over to Atlantic beach/Fort Macon to get some lunch at fellow WOTMC member “Italia” diner (Romas Pizzaria). Afterwards we will head back to Cape Carteret to Golfin’ Dolphin for some putt putt golf and go-cart racing!!! We will meet at “Dicks” sporting goods on Western Blvd in Jacksonville off of Western Blvd at 9 am to leave at 9:30 am. 300 pts.

August 15: WOTMC is supporting one of our fellow members, agent007, on the opening of his new restaurant in Burgaw. We will be meeting at the Wal-Mart parking lot in the Southwest area at 10:30 am to leave around 10:45 am. So come out and support Josh and his in business!!

August 20^th: What a Friday “Ricer Nite”!!! Yup, WOTMC will be having a Friday evening “Ricer Nite” with a Movie! We will be meeting at Hampstead Food lion at Parking lot at 6:15 pm to leave at 6:30 pm and cruise to “Mayfair” of Wilmington. There we will hang out and promote the club in the Mayfair parking lot until a 9:00ish pm movie starts. There are several restaurants to eat at before the Movie starts. Please don’t feel obligated to watch the movie that the club wants to see, if you want to see a particular movie that is up to you. 200pts

August 28^th: We are going to support our fellow Mustang club Stangs R Us as they host their 2^nd annual All Ford Car Show. Registration begins at 9 am until 11 am. WOTMC will meet up at WalMart in the Southwest area of Jacksonville at 645 am to leave at 715 am and head to Dunn Benson Ford to show and shine! 300pts.

March 10th: “Ricer Night” , WOT Mustangs will meet up at Books A Million parking lot in Newbern just to hang out and advertise for the club in the New Bern Area. Meeting time is 6:30 pm. (100 pts)

March 27th: WOT Mustangs will be trading paint!! Come join us as we race go-carts at the NASCAR SPEED PARK in Myrtle Beach SC. Meeting place is the Air Station Food Lion in Jacksonville at 8:00am to leave at 8:15am. Afterwards a long day of racing, lunch/dinner at California Pizza and then movies at Broadway at the Beach. (200 pts)

April 10th: Holcomb Motorsports presents Springs Outlaw Civil Wars 10.5, WOTMC will be heading to the Rock to watch/participate/support our sponsor as they put on this fun weekend. We will be meeting at Wal-Mart Parking lot in the Southwest area of Jacksonville at 6:30am to leave no later than 7:00 am for Rockingham NC. (350 pts)

April 14th: “Ricer Night”, WOT Mustangs will be meeting up at the Piggly Wiggly Parking lot in Swansboro at 6:30 pm to hang out and promote the club. (50 pts)

April 18th: WOT will be having a Day at the park. We will be meeting at the Park next to Holiday City to have some Fun Playing Softball, Enjoying the park and hopefully having some Awesome photo ops down by the boat ramp. We will be meeting at the park around 10:00am. All in all this is a general hangout to enjoy the springtime air. (100 pnts)

April 25th: WOT will be cruising the area. Wot will Meet up around 1:00 pm at the new wal-mart from there we will be choicing our route to head towards wilmington via back roads and interstate 40 when we make it to wilmington we will grab a bite to eat, location still debatable, then we will be going to see a movie.(150 pnts)

May 7th: Track Night, Wot will meet up at Taco Bell/Long John Silvers at 5:15 and will leave around 5:45 to head to Coastal Plains for some side by side racing

May 12th: “Ricer Night”, WOT Mustang will be meeting up at the K-Mart parking lot (college rd) in Wilmington at 6:30 pm to hang out and promote the club (100 pts).

May 15th: WOTMC will have a BBQ and Bonfire at Waynes Dyno, more info to be posted soon. (100)

May 22nd: Twisted Stallions Mustang Club Car show in Wilson NC. We will be meeting at the front of the Mall Parking lot ( near star bucks) in Jacksonville at 6:30 am to leave no later than 7:00 am. Get them clean for show time!! More information to be posted on Registration soon. (300 pts)

May 26th: "Ricer Night" WOTMC will meet at Harbor Freights in Jacksonville (Western Blvd) at 6:30 pm to promote the club and hang out as a group. (100 pts)

June 5th: SRUMC is hosting Mustang Round UP at Kings Dominion. Info on admission is posted on Flyer SRUMC flier (will be posted closer to event). WOT Mustangs will meet at the Wal-Mart Parking lot in Southwest area of Jacksonville at 5:30 am to leave at 6 am. (500 pts)

WOT Winter Schedule

Friday Dec 4th: WOT Mustangs has been invited to participate in a Christmas Parade at Carolina Beach. Please follow club rules for events i.e. no burnouts, dangerous acts, or actions that reflect badly on you or the club. Your are here representing WOT Mustang Club so lets have a great showing. Here is the plan, WOT Mustangs will be meeting and the Food Lion by New River Air Stations main gate at 5:00 pm to head down to Carolina Beach to meet Fisnrulz at FoodLion in Carolina Beach to stage for the Parade. We must be stanged by 7:30 pm. We will then follow up with dinner afterwards but location is to TBD.

Sunday Dec 13th: WOT Mustang Club Christmas Dinner!! WOT Mustang will meet at the FoodLion Parking near the Air Station (hwy 17) at 4:15 pm. We will leave at 4:30 sharp so please don't be late. We will then head down to Holly Ridge Smoke House. Hardlivewire will be the POC and lead the cruise. If anyone has any questioins please post or PM me.

Wed Dec 16th: WOT Mustangs will have it's first "Ricer Meet". Join WOT Mustangs at Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot in Jacksonville at 6 pm. The purpose of this meet is to hang out with fellow club members and to attract attention (promote) for the club. Please follow club rules for meets and event. No burnouts, dangerous acts or actions that will reflect badly on you or the club.

Saturday Jan 2nd: WOT Mustangs will be heading out to Lumberton to visit with one of our biggest sponsors, Holcomb Motorsports.WOT mustangs will be meeting at 7:30am at the Food Lion by New River Air Station we will be leaving by 7:45am, WOT Mustangs will meet at the FOOD LION in Hampstead at 8:30 am to depart by 8:45 am. Late lunch to follow afterwards.

Sunday Jan 24th: WOT Mustangs is going Bowling and Grubbing at Mac Daddys!!! WOT Mustangs will meet up at the Piney Green K-Mart at 11:30 am to leave no later than 12:15 pm. Join us as we eat some great food and bowl a couple of rounds at Mac Daddys.

Sunday Feb 7th: WOT Mustangs will be having a Super Bowl Party at chrisblkmustang's house immediately following Track Day. WOT will depart from Coastal Plains at 4 pm and head to Southwest area Walmart to meet up with remaining club members heading to the Super Bowl Party. We will leave at 4:45 pm sharp. There will be Pizza, wings, and other sides. BYOB under one condition, you must have a DD or stay the night at Chrisblkmustang's house.

Wednsday Feb 17th: WOT Mustangs will have another "Ricer Night". Join WOT Mustang club at Dick's Sporting Goods in Jacksonville at 6pm. WOT Mustang will be out promoting the club and hanging out with members. Please follow club rules for meets. So no burnouts, dangerous acts, or actions that will reflect badly on you and the club.

Saturday Feb 20th: DYNO DAY at FASTLANE. WOT Mustangs will Meet up at the SouthWest area Wal-Mart at 7:30 am to Depart at 8:00am to head to our latest Sponsor FASTLANE MOTORSPORTS. There they will be providing lunch, great deals on aftermarket parts, and not to mention dyno pulls!! Come hang out and have some fun. More info to be posted...

Sunday, September 6^th: The thrilla at the grilla!! WOT Mustangs is have an end of Summer BBQ. This is going to be held at TWINSCRWS’ house in Burgaw starting at 12:00. For Jacksonville members there will be a cruise to his house. Members will meet up at Southwest area Wal-Mart at 10:45 to leave sharply at 11:00.

Sunday, September 20th: Emerald Island cruise. WOT Mustangs will be cruising to Rucker Johns on Emerald Island to have lunch, then cruise to Ft. Macon to check out the sites, afterwards head thru Morehead City to hang out at Mac Daddy’s in Cape Carteret for bowling. WOT will meet at K-Mart near the back gate of Camp Lejeune/ the end of Piney Green Rd at 10:30 to leave at 10:45. plan is to eat lunch @ 12 and follow activities afterwards

Saturday, October 10^th: National Speed and Wide Open Throttle Mustangs are hosting “Dash for Cash” charity run! Look for more info to be posted very soon!!

Saturday, October 17^th: Super Stang Fest!!! WOT Mustang to attend Super Stang Fest at VIR. For members who are going to make this trip, we are meeting up at National Speed at 6:30 am to leave out by no later than 7:00 am. Please visit www.superstangfest.com to preregister if you attend to show your ride.

Saturday, October 17^th: All Ford Show in Wilmington. For our members who are not going to attend Super Stang Fest, WOT Mustangs will be attending the Wilmington All Ford Show. Event runs from 8-4 and is going to be held at the Independence Mall off Oleander Rd. WOT Mustangs will meet at the Food Lion Parking lot near the New River Air Station in Jacksonville at 7:45am to leave at 8:00am. Saturday November 7^th and 8^th: Blue Ridge Parkway cruise. WOT to cruise to “Tail of the Dragon”. More info to be posted soon.

Saturday December 5th : WOT will visit Holcomb Motorsports in Lumberton. We will meet at National Speed in Wilmington at 9:00 am to leave at 9:15 for Holcomb Motorsports.

Alright guys club dues are here. If you would like retain your membership with WOT Mustangs, we need you to renew you membership by Sept 15th. If you no longer wish to be a member, no hard feelings, but please PM me so that I can take you off the roster. If you chose to end your membership you will lose all members only access and privileges such as club discounts and sponsor discounts.

For those who wish to remain in the club, I will be collecting money between now and Sept 15th via track days and club meets. If you cannot make the next few meets coming up please PM me so that we can work out away to renew your membership. You can also now pay via Paypal here on the site. Club dues are still $20.

Last if you joined in from April 1st and later you will not have to renew your membership until August 2010. If you are not sure of your membership date please PM me or Ponygurl and we will give your date.

May 23: Kings Dominion Trip. Here is the game plan, Jacksonville members will meet at Hardees in the Southwest area 6:45 am to leave at 7:00 am sharp. Jacksonville members will then travel to Hwy 40 west and meet remaining WOT members at the rest area on exit 364 in Warsaw. At 8:30 am sharp WOT will leave for Kings Dominion!

May 29th: Track Day at Coastal Plains Raceway. WOT will meet up at Arbys on Western Blvd extension at 6:30 to have dinner and short meet. Around 7:15 we will cruise to the track.

June 12th: Track Day at Coastal Plains Raceway. WOT will meet up at Taco Bell/Long John Silvers at 6:30 on Hwy 17 near the Triangle area. We will then cruise to the track around 7:30.

June 19th: Andys Dine in/exhaust competition!! WOT will meet up at Andy''s in Sneads Ferry at 8:30 PM for a late night dinner, hang out, and have a Exhaust Competition!! Your car will be judged on the 3 different aspects, start up, Idle, and Reving. Judging will be on scale of 1-10. 1 being lowest and 10 highest. This is not a who has the loudest car competition. The judging will be based on how clean, crisp, and clear you car sounds. There will be a entry fee of $5 dollars with the overall winner taking half the pot. In case of a tie there will be a exhaust off and winner going to the crowd favorite. Competition will start at 9:15. Judges will be from Andys staff or from NSI. This meet is just for us to get together, eat, hang out and have fun!!

July 5 Track Day at Fayetteville: Test N Tune Sunday. WOT will meet up in Richlands Food Lion Parking lot at 11:00 am and we will cruise up to Fayetteville Motor Sports Park. Gates open at 1:00 until 6:00

July 20-26 MUSTANG WEEK!!July 20-26 MUSTANG WEEK!! For all members going down on Friday (24th) we will meet up at FoodLion in Hampstead at 8am to leave at 8:15 am. We will then cruise to Mrytle Beach via hwy 17 along the way we will stop to get lunch before we head to the show.
For all members coming up Saturday (25th) we will meet up at Foodlion next to the Air Station at 9:30 to leave at 9:45. We will then cruise to Mrytle Beach and meet the Friday WOT member at "Dicks" restaruant in Barefoot Land area at 12:15 for lunch. August 8th WOT MUSTANGS ONE YEAR ANNIVESARY!! WOT Mustangs will be putting on our Second Annual Dyno Day at National Speed. WOT Sping Schedule

April Track Day: April 17th WOT will meet up at Hardees in the Southwest area (across from Piggly Wiggly) around 6:00 pm. We will have a brief meet to pass out club info, take up shirt and banner orders. After dinner will leave out around 7:15 to head to track to race!!

April 19^{th: On} Sunday April 19^th we will be heading to CarolinaBeach to put on a car show for Fryingpantower.com 4^th annual Get Together. The game plan is to meet up at National Speed in Wilmington at 8am. We will leave at 8:30 to cruise to CarolinaBeach for this event.

Jacksonville members, game plan is meet Joey at the food lion across from the air station main gate at 6:55 to leave out by 7 and we will cruise to NSI and meet up with everyone else. If anyone has any questions call 910 554 7066.
