so for some reason my 66 starts up just fine, runs for a while, and once it gets warmed up, it stalls if you give it gas. i thought it was a choke problem but the choke seems fine. any ideas?

On my Maverick it turned out to be the fuel pump.It would have about 3psi so enought to run but not enough to go.

Welcome to the world of an old car.If you do decide to sell it or just want some "alone" time without it I have space in my Garage.

If it has a automatic Choke is it fully opening when cranked???
Or it may be stuck shut...
Float stuck 2 much Fuel...
like the others fuel pump maybe...
Fuel filters gummed up ( The one in the Carb)if you did not take them out already...
Or the in line filter...
Bad gas Smell it and see if it is strong or not...
If it smells weak or like iron it could have water in the gas...
Get a 16 oz bottle and cut the top off it and poor gas a little at a time and see if it will loosen up or free what ever the trash is...

Hope the thoughts help...

carb and intake are new, so is the fuel filter. i just recently filled the gas tank so i doubt its the gas. one of my neighbors has an extra electric fuel pump so im going to try it this weekend if it runs fine then i just need a new fuel pump, the one on there only flows about 40gph if i remember correctly edelbrock suggests at least an 80ghp.
