Well, last winter I had NSI tune my car and it put down some alright number for what little is done to the ride. But was way better than stock!! I notice alot more tq all winter and was able to run my best times cause of it. But over the summer she ran like crap!! It felt so sluggish almost like stock but worst!! Well now with the weather cool again she is running like a f#@# champ!! (makes that much harder to sell it too). So because of custom tunes, can weather be that big of a factor? Should I have a summer tune too? I notice in Ponygurls ride it pretty much the same all year around (mail factory tune from sniper) mabe alittle better in the winter but still the same. Just wonder if anyone else notice's it? I can almost say it feels like it's puttting 20 hp and that much in tq if not more down. Trust me was not happy with the car all summer! _________________

| cooler weather means better air temp means better running car if it was tuned in winter with cool weather then that is how it is set when warmer weather comes its not tuned for that plus warm/hot weather is a bitch to run in anyway |

I figured that much but when it was stock it ran the same year round? I know in the winter cars lean out in A/F ratio but doesn't seem to affect stock tunes, why? _________________

Temperature and humidty always play a part in how they run. I'm not sure of your mods so I caouldn't tell you where to check. I know I have to change my carb settings everytime the weather changes drastically like it has. _________________ 91 Thunderbird SC, 5.0,slushbox |

The fuel injection does compensate for the a/f ratio to a certian extent. If the ECM has been remapped from factory, it can only compensate for a certian amount because it has new "guidelines" to stay within to keep the car running at an optimum. You should get a retune for the seasonal changes, or since you have an SCT livewire, get Taylor to put you a summer tune and a winter tune so you can go back and forth as the season changes. _________________
