| that would be safe. Rule of thumb for no inter/after cooler is 8 psi but thats not set in stone. So if it does have the after cooler then you should be safe. What year Mustang do you have? |

| Twinscrw and Stang910 both have GTs like that with superchargers on stock bottom ends, but both of them are also running Whipple twinscrew units. If i could redo my setup now id get an 05-09 GT and put either a Kenny Bell or Whipple on it. Both Speed junkie and Towgunner have Pro Chargers but Speed Junkie has a built motor and Towgunner has a DOHC motor. Im about to run 8 psi of non aftercooled boost to my car but its a 2v motor. Im sure some of the professionals will get on tonight and give you all the info you need. |

I think it is their's.....It works different than any other one I have ever seen or read about.
http://www.saleen.com/supercharger.htm
The blower assembly contains twin screws, which push 2300 cc of air per rotation As a result, the supercharger turns slower for equivalent boost, producing lower stress and lower air charge temperatures. The higher supercharger efficiency, along with the lower air charge temperatures, allows for an intercooler that is smaller, lighter and more compact and which has virtually zero pressure drop from inlet-to-outlet side. _________________

| I'm running a stock bottom end and its holding up just fine and I'm in the throttle every chance I get. If you want it to be a street car I'd recommend a twinscrew over a centri. How often on the street will you be able to run it to redline? On the street I can out accelerate about anything without taking it over 3000 rpms and that instant torque is awesome. The procharger is still a great setup and sounds great also so either way its a win win situation. Your bottom end should hold up just fine with a perfect tune and the rule of thumb is 450rwhp is the safe zone even though most are very close to 500rwhp on 10psi and running strong. You should be prepared for a built engine though since there will be no guarantee. |

Yes Saleen builds their superchargers in house, but doesn't nesacarrily manufacture all the parts. |
