ok since I am replacing the suspension entirely with a max motorsports kit I have been thinking of changing out the headers as well. To a long tube set up, that way when I tune it I get the most out of it.

What are the best?
Size?
Most efficient?

What else will I need to install the headers, I have a UPR X-Pipe no cats with a borla exhaust and dont want to loose the parts. I like not having cats on my car.

^+1 every companies header is sized up and made for the same companies midpipe. if you try to mix the upr x pipe with say bbk headers, they may not fit properly together

LT's would be a great addition. Kooks are one of the best headers on the market.

If you are putting in longtubes you will have to replace your x-pipe anyways. Not sure on the 2v but on the 4v the only way to do headers is to drop the k-member, and I have heard about clearance problems with most longtubes, clearance to the ground that is, not sure how low your car is, also Bassani makes a mid-length but you would need their mid-length h-pipe. To keep your UPR x-pipe you will have to go with shorty headers. On my fox body I used MAC Headers and Prochamber with Flowmaster cat-back, on my Cobra I have stock manifolds with Prochamber and SLP Cat-Back haven't had a problem bolting anything together.

I am looking at Bassani's Mid Length Headers and I guess I will have to get the X-Pipe to go with it.
Holcomb Motorsports carry the parts. Do they offer discounts to us?

As for dropping the K-Member, I am replacing it. A new one comes with the suspension from Max Motorsports.
