Well since I've decided to stick with building the 3.8L, I'm starting off with an H/C/I swap. And tomorrow I'll be purchasing the first piece of the puzzle.

http://www.vapauto.com/windstar.htm

I've talked to numerous people including a guy who races his 3.8 at road courses all the time. They all vouch for how complete the kit is and how easy it is to feel the power and torque difference. I was also told that it flows better than the stock plenum would have after a P&P. I'll probably get a little porting done when I install the P&P lower too. I'm siked and can't wait to get it. I should have it by Monday or Tuesday.

Yes I have. I'm actually gonna get everything else from Tom Morana Racing. The P&P lower intake, Stage 2 Heads, a cutsom cam, and the forged internals. He's in Canada and also specializes in the V6 engines. And since everyone else uses SSM, I want to be different.

I'm just saying, eventually, you V8 guys are gonna have to watch out for this little sixxer. That's a while down the road, but it'll come. hehe

looks like you have done your research bro. I wish you the best of luck getting that stang to your goals. I am glad to see you sticking with your cars roots. Not to often do you find v6 guys who can out roll v8. Plus not to mention how unique your ride will be.

Thanks Chris. I do spend a lot of time looking around for what i want to do next. I'm just hoping I can get all of this done in a timely manner. I really don't want to sit on it and have it take for ever. We'll see how it goes though.

It comes with the stock throttle body. It's just modified to have the bracket on it to allow the throttle cable and gas pedal to still feel like normal. Yes you can use a bigger throttle body if you send it to the guy at the website first. Then he'll modify it for you with that little bracket and send it back.

Are you interested in buying my BBK 65mm TB rican? I'm gonna sell it after this intake goes on my car. I'm gonna sell the BBK fenderwell too.
