I am picking up my rear end this sunday (jan 31st) and I am getting some 4.10's or 3.73's to go in it. Is there someone out there that can help, more like let me help, put them in? I can bring the axel wherever you need. I will provide Beer and Pizza! Let me know something.

Your putting a whole rear end in your car, or are you just putting gears in your rear end?

As of right now, I am just swapping the gears into the rear end out of the car. Putting the rear end in the car will be the following weekend at the shop i work at in Currie...would like a few people to come out then too for tech support and also some extra muscle.

The only days that I have available for the project are every tuesday and sunday but I am also willing to haul it wherever need be to get the work done. Just need someone with a general knowledge of installation, I will not hold anyone responsible if the rear end locks up, although I am praying that it doesn't.

Being jobless gives me an amazing amount of free time. I can't provide a place to work, but if you can get that arranged I'm there.

FYI

Your going to need a press, to press the pinion bearing and shim off the original pinion gear.

I was hoping to find someone on here that has the proper tools and knowledge to help me out. I don't mind paying a shop to do it, just figured I would ask on here first.

Are you getting an 8.8 with 3.55 gears? If so I'll work out a deal with you.
