Ok well here goes, first a little history on the car:
My 1999 Cobra started life out being purchased by the Virginia DMV, and was used as a Interstate Pursuit Vehicle in Mecklenburg County. It was Sold 2003 with 32,XXX miles at an Virginia DMV Fleet Vehicle Auction. The new owner transfered the car to Pennsylvania where they drove the car until 2006, when the car was involved in an accident with 60,XXX miles.
Following that, the car was sold at Auction to a guy in Kenly, NC where the car sat for the next 2 years.
I purchased the car in 2008 and brought it to Jacksonville where the car was totally dismantled, and the damaged parts on the car, were professionally repaired. I thought at that time that since the car was apart that I would update the car with the newer 03/04 Cobra front and rear bumpers, side scoops, rear decklid and spoiler, and I also ordered a new Keanan 3" Cowl Hood for a little more aggressive look. After all repair work was done, the car totally blocked out and smooth and all needed body parts and panels were at the shop the car was shot in 3 coats of the Factory Vermillion Red Base coat and topped with 4 coats of Clear Coat. Body done.
On to the motor. While the car was apart, I completely tore the motor down to upgrade all the internals with Forged pieces. I ordered a Kellogg 4340 Steel Crankshaft, Eagle H-Beam Rods w/ ARP 2000 bolts, Diamond Forged Flat-Top Pistons and plasma-moly Ring kit, all being balanced by Edge Bros. in Jacksonville. ARP main and head studs, were also added as well as all Fel-Pro Gaskets, and a Hi-volume oil pump. The stock 99 Cobra Cams were re-used, a professional Valve Job was done on the heads, along with some slight port work done by Edge Bros. as well. I re-used the stock 99 Cobra upper and lower intake manifolds. Motor Done.
Suspension. Me and a buddy replaced the stock 99 IRS with one out of a 03 10th Anniversary Cobra. This one came with Carbon Clutches in the differential, 3.55 rear gears, and beefier 31 spline half-shafts than those of the 28 spline 99's. I added FRPP bolt on Subframe connectors, and swapped my car over to the better looking 10th Anni. Cobra brakes with the powdercoated Red Calipers front and rear, as well as adding Cross-drilled/slotted Rotors on all 4 corners.
The car originally came with a T-45 tranny, but I had a 03 model Tremec 3650 Completely Re-built, and I installed it with a new Flywheel, and 11" King Cobra Clutch Set-up. (about to be replaced with a Spec set-up)
For exhaust I have, FRPP Stainless steel Shorty Headers, Stainless steel Bassani Offroad X-Pipe, and the Stainless Steel Borla Stinger Catback.
Wheels and Tires consists of 4 Ultra Rare 17X9" Weld Pro-Star XP's riding on Nexen 275/40/17 tires.
As for a Power Adder, I have a complete , uninstalled, NX wet kit for my car. Consisting of:
-New Wet Shark Nozzle kit with the upgraded Carbon Fiber solenoids adj. 50-350hp
-New NX Remote Bottle opener
-New NX GenX-2 accessory kit w/ purge, heater and pressure transducer, blow down tube and valve, bottle pressure guage
-New NX TPS Activation Switch
-New Autometer 2 1/16" Phantom II Electric Nitrous Pressure Guage
And thats about it. Sorry it took so long, but thats the story! Just one last thing,
VOTE FOR ME!!!!!! |

2004 Competition Orange Mach 1 bought in 2008 with 18k miles. First thing for modifications was a c&l cold air intake and flowmasters. Few months after that I traded the C&L cold air intake for a JLT Cold Air intake and added the jegs off road h pipe. Had it dynoed at 271 to the wheels. Next on the list was the steeda short throw shifter and a ford racing aluminum drive shaft. After a few months of talking the wife into modding it some more, she finally gave in and said we could get the supercharger. We went with a Procharger P1SC and then we got the numbers that you see today 450rwhp 420rwtq. This was tuned by Dan at Dynosport in Lincoln Nebraska. Recently added are the 17X10 deep dish bullitts in the rear with the 17x8 bullitts up front. Best time down the track currently is 12.08 and the goal is to get into the 11s this year. The car basicly speaks for itself. Would like to thank the wife for letting me mod the Mach1.
