I know what the obvious answer is, but the 3.73's are used and will cost me $75, I can get the 4.30's still in the box, never used for $100. I really wanted 4.10's but there seems to be no one in eastern NC that has a set for sale Crying or Very sad and I can't afford to spend $150 on a new set. I need some imput before tomorrow.

if its an automatic id go with the 4.30s, i dont know if youd have any 1st gear left with 4.30s on a manual.

Yeah, most of the other guys know, but it is an automatic with future plans for minor bolt ons...nothing drastic until tax time next year.

I wouldn't pay $75 for used gears, but thats me. New 4.30 gears for $100 are worth it if they are Ford Racing gears and not some el cheapo's.

do you want to be the fastest V6 in WOT? Then get the 4.30s and you'll be 1 step closer! Then CAI, exaust, and knock some weight out to make up for that convertable top and you'll be good till tax time next year! That's when you need to throw some rims on that thing!

smoked tail lights, smoked turn signals, black convertable top, some black rims would set it off man. But then again, the V6 wars have started in WOT. Lol.

They have? lol. I may have to tell the wife to suck it up and buy the rest of the parts to build my motor then. I mean, it'll only cost like $3K more. I'm just kidding. I wouldn't spend $3K without talking to her. She'd have a damn heart attack and I'd wake up the next day dead.

well despite the higher highway rpm's, the lower rpm's pull is sick! it doesnt add hp, but because of what they r, it felt like 50-75 hp gain from stock gears. theyre man gears... shit ur britches fast!

LMFAO!!! Well I picked up the gears today and i'm taking them to Jeff tomorrow so he can install them in the 8.8, hope to pick it up this week and install it in the car this sunday. I will post something as soon as I know for certain, everyone is welcome to come out and help with the install. I will post directions as soon as I know for sure when the swap is taking place.
