on a stock motor ..... it will definetly wake it up ... bes bang for the buck IMO.... cause you can get them cheap... _________________ 1990 silver GT

^^^ yes you need both because a stock Ho lower has a different style port its rectangle and the GT40p has round ports.... _________________ 1990 silver GT

| And if don't already have one the explorer uses a 65mm throttle body that can be modified to work in a fox. |

| No you don't have to use the throttle body, but if you can get the intake as an assembly the throttle body is a 65mm compared to the stock 58mm??? basically its kind of a free mod. To modify it all you have to do is swap the part that controls the opening of the butterfly on the bottom of the throttle body (its what the cable hooks to). You just grind off the tab and tack weld the other one on. |

| Yes you can just got to make sure you use the gt40 spacer, but I say save your money cause its not worth it. |
