I have the RXT in my car because it ate through the Centerforce DFX, I talked directly with McLeod at a couple NMRA events and they recommend a quick release style quadrant with their clutches which makes it a little touchy. When I did mine I did the Findanza resurface, new pilot bearing, new throwout, new bearing retainer from Lethal (which is the retainer RPM Transmissions uses in their kits now), new clutch fork, and the quadrant, didn't want any problems.

Remember the McLeod's don't come with throwout bearings so I use a Ford Racing one. Anytime your around the Cobra and want to check the clutch out your more than welcome. I have pictures of the whole install in my folder on here.

I ordered the RXT and Mcleod steel flywheel today. The new trans should be going in very soon.

Got the RXT in today and it looks way stronger then the RST coming out of my car. The .50 overdrive gear is supposed to be here tomorrow so with any luck I'll be installing the new tranny this weekend.

Nice. My wife is coming home sometime around the 10th. Atleast that's what we were told. As long as it's not on that day, count me in for coming to give you a hand.
