For the month of June we are going with "Screaming Yellow" stangs! Your choices are Ricanstang, Pongurl, and Recordbreaker5.

Ricanstang:
Long story short, the first time i drove a Mustang i fell in love with them, i recently traded in my 1966 Mustang GT coupe and my 2000 mustang for this car. My current one "ELLIE" is a 2006 Mustang GT convertible. screaming yellow with black racing stripes, Cervinis Eleanor hood and front bumper, Foose 18" wheels, JLT CAI, Saleen short throw shifter, Magnaflow cat back with X pipe and 4.10 gears. On a conservative 87 octane tune 283 rwhp and 302rwtq. next mod will be a programer and a 93 octane tune.

Ponygurl:
When I first saw the ‘05 Mustangs, I knew I had to have one. So in the summer of ‘05 we purchased my Screaming Yellow Mustang brand new and haven’t looked back since. Very first mod came in 3 months in the form of a SLP axle back exhaust. Next, with the goal of a “Shelby” look I decided to have Shelby stripes painted on but instead of the traditional black stripe on a yellow car; Chris and I decided that grey/silver strips would stand out much better. Next was to improve the stance with a set of 1.5 inch drop springs from Ford Racing. With it sitting pretty, the next mod was an S &B cold air intake and “can” tune from Sniper. Over the next couple years all the following visual mods have been installed: tint, upper and lower side scoops, duck tail, front spoiler, center fog lights, shorty antenna, and 20 inch rims with Nitto’s (front 255/35/20 rear 285/35/20). My last mod was a set of 3.73 gears. The best I have ran at the track has been 14.0 but the car as gone 13.5 with a driver mod (it has more in it with a real tune). It has been almost a year since my last mod!! So with a mod long overdue, I have always wanted a turbo, so a few months ago I purchased a used turbohorsepower 61 mm turbo kit!! Right now I have almost everything to install the kit including 39 lb injectors, supporting gauges, and shift light. All I need is a couple of new v band claps, gauge pod, and fuel pump (or BAP). I am going to have Wayne’s Dyno install the kit as well as tune it. My overall goal is 450-470 rwhp range. Other future modifications include a GT 500 KR style hood, HID headlights, MGW short throw shifter and clutch/flywheel (undecided). Thanks for all the votes! Very Happy

Recordbreaker:
I picked up this screaming yellow Saleen-2005 Mustang GT from a friend of mine back in Florida. The original owner took the car to a Saleen dealership and had it converted into a Saleen with the body kit and N2 racing suspension. I've had the car now for a couple of months and have already decided to modify it from its completely stock GT engine. I am currently in the process of rebuilding it into a high horsepower street rod. The current upgrades are: MagnaFlow cat-back, Hurst Short Throw, HD MSR Wheels 20x10rear 275/35R20's and 20x8.5front 255/35R20's All the following parts are pending for install: 4.6L FRPP 3v Aluminator short block, FRPP Ported Heads w/ ARP head studs and Cometic gaskets, Comp Springs/retainers/phaser limiters, Comp Cam Shafts (custom), F1-A Procharger Stage II, ATI balancer w/ ARP balancer bolt, 3-core intercooler, FRPP Twin 62mm throttle body, FRPP Racing Intake manifold[end of May], Kooks 1 5/8 to 2 1/2 longtubes w/ X-pipe high flow cats, Fidanza Aluminum billet flywheel, Fidanza Clutch kit, Steeda HD motor mounts, Autolite HT0 spark plugs, Weapon-X COP, SCT BA-5000 MAF, SCT Livewire w/ dash mount, Autometer/Procharger 20 PSI Boost gauge, AutoMeter/Procharger fuel pressure gauge, SOS dual pillar pod w/ raptor shift light, Moroso Deep Sump Aluminum oil pan, GT500 dual fuel pumps, and I think that is all for now. As far as a sounds system, I have a touch screen Pioneer head unit, 3- 10" kicker comps behind rear seat in custom fiberglass box, 2- 8" kicker comps in door panels w/ kicker amp. I have not taken the car to the track at all yet. Once all the upgrades are installed and ready, I plan on taking it to Coastal Plains. I plan on completing the build with finishing up the drivetrain and a maximum motorsports suspension in the future.
