Well, it made it around the block twice for it's initial test drive. It was loud as hell and seemed to back fire more the warmer it got. But it looks like the coolant leaks are taken care of and and at least I know it'll make it to the exhaust shop tomorrow. Anyone know if the exhaust shop will give me trouble for having an offroad h-pipe? I had a couple exhaust shops a while back tell me they wouldn't work on it because I was trying to switch my stock single to a true dual setup. Also, I did notice that while I was accelerating, the rpm's would hang at where I let off the gas until I switched gears. Any thoughts? And hopefully the tune on Thursday will take care of the backfiring problem.

what exhaust shop you taking it to? i take my cars over to the exhaust shop off Onslow pines rd. The oldest muffler man in Jacksonville, a little black guy named David with a funny walk. He will give you the best prices guaranteed.

Jeff and Stacey recommended 30 Min. Muffler on Bell Fork. I'm going there tomorrow morning and see how much it'll cost. All they have to do is run new piping from the mid pipe back, so it shouldn't be too bad. Plus it's close and I won't have to drive too far with my car being ridiculously loud.

Long tubes are a pain in the ass on any car
not true, remeber my old car the 66, it didnt have any power features, with the longtubes on i still had enough space to do anything i wanted to, this why ill be buying another one in the future, but ill do it right that time, complete rebuild.

Thanks man. I'm loving how it sounds. Now if it would just run as good as it sounds I'd be happy.

HaHa. And we got it working great. Everything is figured out and the car is ready for tuning on Thursday. I'm so freaking excited again. It's insane how you can go from hating to loving your car so many times in a such a short time frame. lol
