| Okay for those who have not seem my ride, she sits pretty freaking low (2inch drop). I scrape bugs off the ground. Well today I took it to Waynes and had it dyno'd plus I wanted to have him fix the driver side exhaust because it was hanging lower than the other side. Well turns out because the car sits so low that that side got alittle bent up causing it to sit lower. He did the best he could to straighten it out. But it looks like I may have to get a new Cat Back later down the road. I hate the fact that I may have to raise the car back up, but I hate to destroy new cat back again. So should I just run dumps instead or should I go to a 1.5 spring and get a new exhaust? If I run dumps I still am going to scrape but I can have the hangers modified to pull the mufflers closer to the body so that it is higher up. Honestly I have no money to buy new spring or exhaust so even if I want to I can't. What do you all think dump them until I get new spirng and and exhaust? |

| What I want is to leave it lowered but it just isn't going to work, I will keep killing my cat back if I do. |

I got 1 5/8 which is ok, but for the amount of HP that my car will make, 1 3/4 or even 1 7/8 would have been better for less restriction. _________________

I had MAC 3" cat-back and now have a SLP 2.5", the only changes from one dyno pull to another was the clutch and cat-back and it picked up 30 hp and 35 lb ft or torque, Sean Hyland really stands behind traditional layout mufflers like flowmaster robbing horsepower, and that the bullet style mufflers are the way to go, next cat-back will be 3" Bassani's. _________________ www.D3RACING.com

chris i was thinking about it and personally i would leave the springs and modify the hangers to pull the mufflers up. also polyurethane isos would add a little bit of height (not much but maybe enough after modding the hangers). do you know if there are any isos on there at all right now? alot of new edge guys will either reuse the old isos, use just the uppers or lowers, or use none at all. _________________
