Hey guys,
I'm the latest noob to the sight. Not much to tell really about myself. I'm an E5 in the army, stationed at fort bragg, however I live in Jacksonville. I've been racing, modding, and living cars since I got my license. I'm fairly new to mustangs. I have a 2010 GT with full bolt ons, cams, zex wet kit etc etc etc making mid 400's rwhp and almost 500rwtq. This is my second mustang but the first one I've really done anything with.

But anyway, I look forward to meeting everyone. Hopefully some of you old school drag guys can teach me a thing or two one of these days.

Josh

Welcome man. Like I said on the other forum, I think you'll like hanging out with us. We like to play with our cars rather than just sit around making them look pretty. Looking forward to seeing this 2010 of yours.

Right on guys. yeah I cant wait to get back and get involved with the club. I've been looking for a good club for a while.

yeah it is quite a drive. Some weeks I go back and forth every other day and sometimes only on the weekend. I might be moving up to fayetnam in Nov but I'll still be down every weekend and what not. My wife is getting tired of me always in and out lol. We got a baby girl on the way, due the 23rd of this month, so thats why I'm coming back. I figure I got a good week to mess around before the baby comes and ties me up for a bit lol.

Any shop you guys have around that you swear by? I'm right on the verge of needing to do a shortblock swap, at least before I put a set of heads on and get serious about the 2010. I'm at 490 ft lbs of tq at the wheels right now and I'm already pushing it, I think a pair of stage II heads would send my connecting rods right throw my block lol.

yea...you need the FORGE God to send his presence to your block. There is a few places guys go to in the club. Some build their own, and some prefer to have a shop build it. But there are a few shops around that are very capable of doing it for you if you decide to go that route. And Congrats on the baby! It will def be a handfull

Thanks. I'm sure she will be lol.

Yeah I'm definitely going that route. My goal is 550rwhp 600ftlbs of tq and a daily driver Very Happy Trying to break my DD record here lol.

I've priced a few places out for a forged rotating assembly. Nat speed wanted like 5500 in labor....and thats with me buying the assembly pre balanced, all stock bores, etc. Thats pretty rediculous in my book.
Found a shop In Va that will do a short block swap for 1600 plus liquids, and 400 for the dyno time. Or do a forded rotating assembly for 3200 with dyno time. But Va is a long trip to take for a forged short block lol.

I had to back down on the spray. We had 125hp jet in but I was worried about the bottom end coming apart on me so we went with the 100hp jet and figure I'm good there.

But yeah, the list is long....the wallet is skinny....and the ole lady is still complaining.....lmao

haha. thanks man. I love how it sounds at idle but not too much in the higher rpm's. I'm in between right now on selling it for a 96-98 cobra or keeping it. No one seems to be interested, even though it's only been on the market for 3 weeks or so. I'm impatient and might do some nitrous and shoot for 12's. We'll see what happens though. Speaking of, feel free to post the two videos of your cars. The GT sounds good and that Nova sounds and looks sick.

Is posting them in here cool or should I post em in the vid section I was watching earler....well now that I ask that the answer seems obvious lmao.

If you want to go the nitrous route man hit me up....I'd venture to say there is little to nothing I don't know about a wet nitrous kit lmao.

Welcome! What did you think og BNT? I am from the wilmington area along with a few others in the club and I was wondering what people think of BNT.
