Hey...My name is Tom and I'm in Jacksonville (wow, way to start out sounding like an AA meeting intro).
Anyway, I recently traded my 2003 V6 in on a 2011 V6, and since I've met a few members of WOT, I thought I'd finally sign up. This may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find it on the site...when & where is the next meeting scheduled so I can become an official member? Course, I'm thinking WOT will be attending the annual SENCMC show in Wilmington on Oct 16...can get hooked up there since I'll be there anyway.
A few shots of "Marie"
On day 1, after picking her up from Capital Ford:
Mod #1...tinted tails. A huge improvement IMO.
Mod #3...tinted windows.
Mod #4...black billet aluminum grille, top and bottom. Next mod will probably be fogs, and a new exhaust when next year's taxes come in.
Took this shot on the 2nd day of owning the new car. No clue which WOT members these are, but I gotta say I love what the owner of the black one has done with the front end!

Sounds like a plan. Once my trans is fixed I'm down. I am curious how my sixxer does up against a 2011 sixxer.

matt, doesnt the 2011 have the twin turbo setup, and if so, let me knwo when yall run them id like to see it.

Yeah there was. I was on a photo shoot cruise, so didn't hang around at the beach long. While I may be a mechanical moron, I make up for it with mad photography skills lol!

Oh well. I've kinda got to go to the SENCMC show. Been a member there for a while and used their dealer connection to get a sweet deal on the stang. I'll keep an eye open on when the club is meeting someplace else. Probably a track night.

It'll be good to go up something more fairly matched for once. It's getting old facing Terminators and Camaro SS's over and over again (was hoping to run against rice, but never seemed to work out that way). Pick the date, and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it. |

Thanks. As for the twin turbo, I wish it did. 305 ponies, naturally aspirated. |

No, that's the Taurus SHO. It has the 3.5L TT Ecoboost engine with I think 365ish hp. The 2011 V6 Stangs have a N/A 3.7L with I think 306hp and 280tq. Should be a good race.

Cool. Just have to take care of my transmission and inspection issues, and I'll be good to go. Hopefully a few weeks.

Hey Tom, this is Chris, thanks for checking us. Sorry I haven't been on BMC site in awhile but as you can see I really won't fit in there anymore!!! Good to run into you at the track, so what was your best time officially of the night? As for membership, we have a pay pal account or you can see me at the next meet. There is thread that is called "wot meets and events" and there is a sticky will have the summer meets. I will be updating the fall meets by the end of the week, just fyi. Thanks for checking us out. Remember this is performance based club, so better bring your "A" game!

| The only race I won was against a '67 Galaxie. I probably would have beat an F-150....if it wasn't for an ahem...embarrassing mistake. Chris (I'm not sure of his screen name here) may have seen, but I really hope not! |

The night we was out I don't recall a F150 but Joey has a HD F150, he has yet to run it.
