Went 12.5 tonight at 114 using MT et streets. Car will go faster but being safe on the launch. Once the rear is built up, will go crazy off the line!!

Bias Ply which on the top end got alittle hairy. My best 60 was 1.9 launching at 3800-4000 ish rpm. It bogged alittle but pulled out of it. I don't think I am going to going any higher on my launches until I get IRS brace, bushing, subframes and upgraded shafts

from what ive heard and read on svtp, thats a pretty basic launch rpm for most people (not positive, just what ive heard). you wont have to launch as high with the cobras, unless youre running race tires, then you can i suppose

I think alot of guys also have 3.73 or 4.10 to help them get out of the hole better without having to launch at real high rpm. I am going to stick with stock gears and hope I can cut a 1.7 or better with harder launch after my upgrades. If not I might step up to a 3.73 then.

oh thats true, didnt think about you still having the stock gear ratio. does it have a short throw shifter in it yet?

haha yeah, i was just suggesting it. i love mine. and you can always sell the tri-ax on the svtp classifieds. thats what i did with my pro 5.0 when i got my mgw
