I just might choose this over the whipple/frpp. It's bigger and cheaper. For the base model which is the 2.8, it costs 6600 bucks compared to whipples 2.3 base model which is 7200. The only reason I would choose the whipple, is for the looks.

I'd probably go KB this time around also. The Whipple kit still looks way better though.

I emailed Kennebell asking them about a 3.6LC that would bolt to a 4.6 and got no answer, WTF.

Doesn't whipple make the 4.0L for the 5.4 and 4.6 now? I thought I caught an article somewhere in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords about it.

Well if I really wanted a big Whipple I would get the 3.4 through Lethal as my discount makes them ridiculously cheap, but then have to cut the hood or run a cowl hood and I would have to pulley it down to 18 psi just to run pump gas or run Meth all the time, I think they come out of the box making 23 psi or something like that. I'll give Whipple the cutomer service superiority award and probably warranty but I think the KB is a better product.

Just looked at Whipple's site and they still only list the 140 (2.3) and the 210 (3.4) they do list the 245 kit as coming soon.

Love my KB, only 9lbs of boost gave it 155 more ponys to the rear. Also love my Whipple though. The whipple is much louder in the truck than in the car, however the KB is louder outside the vehicle both idle and high strung. IDK whats up with that lol

I can't imagine either one!! The stock eaton makes a nice whine but to have a KB or Whip would sound so sick.

I wouldn't get either unless you plan on an upgrade later. Both companies will put out bigger and better s/c packages for the coyote motor within the next 12 months or so. It's almost a guarantee with these motors being so new and untested with forced induction set ups.

Both blowers are big enough to grenade the stock shortblock so if you never plan on doing a build these kits don't get any better. Especially the 2.8 KB which has made over 700whp on 4.6l's.

Check out the video. Here's a Whipple at the track on 8 psi. For a street car there is no need to go any faster IMO.
