Well being a termi owner and not disrespect to other owners but the new kid on the block is putting Termi's out to pasture. Termi's are still bad ass and will go down as the best Fox platform based Mustang ever. Even with intro of the 5.4 GT500 back 07', Termi's still ruled the streets/strips and had alot of respect (and still do) but..........Ford has changed the game in 2011 and I saw witness to it last night. A NA 5.0 with just a CAI, Mid pipe, catback and tune went 11.7!!! Stang910 put his car there. I remember when boosted 3v making 11's passes was awesome. Termi's in the 11's is pretty common but that is still doing it with a power adder. Now this is just strickly Motor to Motor comparsion because IMO cobras do have disavantange with the IRS. But to have a NA motor put down just over 400+ rwhp with just 3 bolts on is freaking sick!! It takes a pulley swap and tune to go over 400 rwhp for a cobra but that is still using a Power Adder. Now the Cobra block will handle tons more power and the new 5.0 hasn't been around long enough to see what it will handle but my guess is that it will take just as much as the stout 4.6 cobra block can. I love my Cobra and will hold onto her for along time, I will get my low 11's soon and mabe I will try for 10's but doing that is old news for Cobra's. Getting low 11's with a NA 5.0 is late breaking news and IMO it is great news!!! Congrads Jeff getting into the 11's and I will be rooting you on for your low 11's.

Well we've seen a boosted 5.0 go extremely low 9's touching on 8's at the NMRA finals. That just comes to show.......

Congrats on the time, let me start my excuse list:

I had floor mat under the accelerator
I only had 87 octane in
I wasn't racing
You have 25-26 cu in more
Not enough air in the tires
Too much air in the tires
More to come.

Good thing no one told Whipple they were old news, the Whipple 2.9 and Whipple 4.0 kits for the 03-04 Cobra have been released, very first 2.9 kit was ordered by a guy in Virginia Beach, Whipple gives a 10% military discount too, just waiting for numbers.
