Thanks guys! It was great showing everyone what the new 5.0 is capable of. I've heard too many times that the only people running good times are all shop owned cars and magazines. Its nice to actually see it happen in person. Can't wait to do it again and try to 11.50's or even my PB 11.39.

I gotta say the new 5.0s are QUITE impressive! How do they hold up as far as extreme power? I know the Termi's could make MASSIVE power with some boost, and the only weak link was the IRS. How are the new 5.0s as far as weak links?

So far the 5.0's are holding just over 600rwhp without issues. Nobody has taken a stock one to the extreme yet that I know of. These engine won't be holding 800rwhp for sure though.

As for weak links its probably gonna be the traction lock a few of them have gone south already. The clutch is fine as long as you keep the stock rev limiter.

Nice run, Jeff. Can't wait to see where you take that beast to when you get into the major mods.

Thanks Shorty. I'm probably done with mods to the 5.0 for a long while. I'm gonna work on getting the Cobra in the 10's.

Thats the one thing i will say the Cobra has over the new 5.0 is the ability of the stock block to hold 800-900hp. Gotta love that about the Cobras!
