in 93 the hp rating of the 5.0 HO was downgraded to 205 and torque down to 275 due a mathmatical change in how horsepower and torque is calculated....therefore the engine's power didn't change, just the number was adjusted. The adjustment was only noted by mustang enthusiests when the SN95 came out and was rated at 215, this was blamed on the extra 45 degree elbow that allowed the stock airbox to hook up with the throttle body on the old 5.0. Just some general knowledge...

Well I found a 429 and I think this is the route I am gonna go cuz I love me some ol skool lol. Plus I have a nice set of heads from my Galaxie I was gonna put on it but never did.

Well I have almost everything I want. <Missed out on a set of 69 heads by about 35 minutes....back to the bargain trader again lol. It'll be friggin' cool though!

Lol...you mean WHEN I do! Seriously after all the kits I've found and write ups I get ....well...nevermind.
Since I have two 429 blocks I'm thinking of going mild 400 on the vert and building a full out track toy with 600+

Block is bored and crank is polished,heads are done too! But my subframe connectors are on back-order along with my gears and control arms! Go figure I spend the money for the stuff I could do before the swap and they get back-ordered but my motor which was supposed to be 3 months out is done now. Need to cash in on my european lottery tickets....lol
