Anyone use them? Any thoughts pro/con?
Considering swapping my Flowmasters to make a little more noise (and the straight through is also desirable).

SLP exhaust are REALLY LOUD!! However they will strike fear in the heart of your enemies.

I've got the FM/40 series on the car now, and it sounds nice. Throaty, loud when I get on it - but I'm feeling the itch to pump up the volume a little. I'll probably be throwing money into a 4.10 rear before I toss it at a muffler swap (more bang for the buck), but I did want to get some +/- feedback on the SLP monsters (incase I can't resist the urge). Thanks for the info.

What style Mid pipe are you running? I know with no cats x or h they are loud as shit. Really rasp with either in my open but louder with off road H pipes. You will lose that deep throaty sound but it still loud a very much a Mustang sound.

I originally had some SLP Loudmouths on my car and they were stupid loud with an O/F X-Pipe. Replaced it with some Flowmaster American Thunders and I like the sound it makes.

Check out the SSS Terminators at parts.cheap.com. There is a video that shows what the exhaust sounds like inside the car and outside the car. There are all stainless steel and look like Borlas but sound like the the 1968 fast back out of the movie Bullitt. They are also a straight through design muffler. Take your time finding the right muffler so when you do put another set on it will be the right ones. I researched for a good month or two. When I installed the exhaust that I have on now I was extremely pleased.

Regrtetfully, they don't carry these for sn95s on the site... I'll have to look around to see if they exist. Thanks for the info.

Interesting: 2003 Mach1... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnONaalVT1s

Which means it IS possible (with some fabrication/creative welding i'm sure) I bet. From what I've heard, I like the sound of them.

I have the LM1s on the car right now and LOVE THEM!! They will wake the dead without a catted mid pipe Very Happy and sound near perfect with a set of long tubes and catted mid pipe IMO. The tone/loudness is the main thing I'm gonna miss about going turbo Crying or Very sad

and they don't resonate inside the car (drone) like chambered mufflers tend to do; another added bonus! Wink
