Not sure how long the Coyote is gonna last at this level, but looks like it'll make some 9 sec passes before it blows.
Just wanted to say hi from the ST Crew. We ran our 2011 GT with the KB 2.8LC last weekend. My wife ran the car, and did a great job. First pass was a 10.78@131 mph,2nd pass was a 10.66@133.6 mph on the 620 HP tuneup. Not too bad for her first time in the car, let alone first time down the strip in over 2yrs. Im just getting aquainted with the tuning on this platform, but so far we have made 671 rwhp on 12.9lbs. The car is all stock minus the Kenne Bell 2.8LC, KB 8rib kit, and some well used DR's.
We will be adding the KB 168 mm t-body and an agressive tune along with some suspension work and 3.73 gears. Im sure next trip out will give us some hi 9's , and in the 700-730 rwhp range.
Ill be installing another 2.8LC Ken3030's KB 2.8LC on Monday. Ill post up some before during and afters with dyno sheets.
Thanks Adam |

i figured as much i just thought it was funny, ive been reading a lot about the coyote engines they have a "stock" one almost running 9s if i remember correctly its got a kenne bell on it with everything else stock if i remember correctly it ran 10.07 last time and they were upping thee boost on it, they dont expect the engine to last they just wanna see how much they can get out of it. then u have one of my all time favorites in the termie engine, its one of those debates for me that if i was gonna build my dream car which engine would it have?i wouldnt mind getting a 427 and swaping it to fuel injection with a whipple on top!!! _________________

well the 5.0 i was talking about they hadnt done any upgrades to the car except the blower and a tune, with some suspension work that car would be great! _________________

If I go with FI on this car its gonna be a KB. Here's the latest update on Adams car.
Doing the throttle body tests right now. Made 702 rwhp with same pulley that made 623 rwhp. Thats a ton of power to be found with a throttle body. The boost increased quite a bit showing the restriction of the t-body. We are regapping the spark plugs right now, and then will finish the testing. Will post all the graphs up later tonight. Im expecting to see 750-760 rwhp. Intresting stuff. Thanks Adam |

Wow. That's huge gains from a freaking throttle body. _________________

You keep comparing your best time, to my best time. But the difference is that my best time was done with two blown headgaskets, no tune, and my clutch was slipping in both 3rd and 4th gear...We shall see my friend. How did my tail lights look though as I took off down the track when you "stalled....?" _________________
