Trust me man, I want it to be fixed so bad already...The motor has actually been ready to go back in the car for 4 or 5 days now. The only reason I have it out still is because I can't get the valve springs off of the old heads to swap them onto the new ones. I've tried 2 different spring removal tools with no luck. They just don't want to come off. _________________

sigh, sorry to hear that dude. Wish I could help but I might as well be the blonde chick who stared at a gallon of orange juice that said "concentrate" when it comes to problem solving! _________________

LMAO! It looks like I'm gonna just end up buying new valve springs and selling the other set of GT40p heads I have with the Crane Cam springs still attatched. _________________

He did but the locks were stuck in the retainer so he couldn't remove them. I gave him my valve spring compresser to use which pushes on the valve at the same time and he says it won't push the spring down far enough. Matts just disfunctional when it comes to certain things lol. |
