My Cobra already has a solid rear conversion on it and I've been tossing around the idea of putting a IRS back in it. The car isn't a dedicated track car, but it will be the car I run at the track. The IRS can be built to handle alot of power so that's the route I'd take if I did swap it out. There's a guy here in NC looking for an even swap. What's everyone's opinion on this?

If you don't mind the road noise and ride stay with the soild. Me, I am staying IRS and beefing it up to handle my power goals. I just like the ride and it is my street/strip car.

I love the way my car rides and handles with the IRS. If it was more of a track dedicated car, then I would do the SRA swap.

BTW a guy on HPJ sells half shafts for $100.

No it's a 8.8 and I'm thinking its a stock rear also. I haven't tore it down yet to figure it out.

Yeah Hollywood thought it was a 9", he never seen the car just going off what he was told. The lady I got it from thinks the rear is fully built and won't break again. I'm thinking differently at the moment.

9" rear is overkill for any car driven on the street. Built 8.8's handle everything and anything under 1000hp
