|
|
I have been contemplating buying and installing CMCV deletes. Will this be worth my time and effort? I'm not sure that with my car being nearly stock I will see any gains.... I drive at nearly WOT everywhere I go (of seems that way) so the CMCV's are open anyways. What input do you guys have on this? _________________ 13.03@104.9 mph. | Not worth doing IMO. Minimal gains for the $ spent. Now if you wanted to go with the home made deletes then I'd say go for it. |

Nah, I will leave them be for now. Spend the money on something else! _________________ 13.03@104.9 mph. ARH LT's, MAC O/R Prochamber, FRPP 4.10's Moroso Spiral Flows, GT500 STB. |

I have 2 set that I have made already. But if you know someone who is local and can do it, go that route. It's very easy and a lot cheaper than $250 Steeda's.
***If you need the PDf file on how to do it, let me know and I'll email it to you*** _________________

I appreciate it Mike. Our buddy is a CNC Machinest and knows his stuff! I can't imagine he will skimp on the plates that are made for his DD. _________________ 13.03@104.9 mph. ARH LT's, MAC O/R Prochamber, FRPP 4.10's Moroso Spiral Flows, GT500 STB. |

Gotcha, but I was referring to the home made plates that jeff was talking about. $10 and a lil bit of your time does the job. But if he'll machine them for free!!! hell yea! _________________

I was assuming he would machine some.... not sure now after reading most of the threads about how to do it yourself! I may try doing it in the near future. I would appreciate the PDF whenever you get the time Mike! joshuafontana@yahoo.com thanks bro! _________________ 13.03@104.9 mph. i dont think he has the time rite now. He said when he gets that far he'll make his own but he's not worried about that rite now. I doubt he'll make any untill he makes his own cuz he won't want to write the program. _________________

Mike (recordbreaker05) just sent me a step by step guide with photos on how to modify mine. Looks very straight forward. Just need a dremel tool and a tube or quicksteel! May do it when I have some down time. Let eric know that I have the PDF for the mod in case he wants it. _________________ 13.03@104.9 mph. I appreciate it Dan. I will think on it...with aluminum at nearly $2/lb it is gonna be hard to get ahold of a piece that big! _________________ 13.03@104.9 mph. ARH LT's, MAC O/R Prochamber, FRPP 4.10's Moroso Spiral Flows, GT500 STB. |
