I guess me and Hollywood are the resident black car experts here. The best bet for that "Show Shine" would be the "Black Box" kit from Advanced auto. other than that, i use eagle 1 spray and wipe before i go anywhere where my car's gonna be looked at.

The shamwow is your issue. They leave streaks on everything. Get a real shammy cloth and that should help.

Black cars a pain to keep clean, that's why I picked a different color for my new stang. For drying you can use a leaf blower or a nice waffle weave microfiber. You also might have hard water. For that you'll have to get a filter between your tap and your hose.

also make sure youre not putting too much soap in it. i used to do that everytime and it would leave streaks.

yup that was what I was going to say. Hard water will cause streaks. I am on well and it hard water. So I wash are cars really early in the morning so that the water doesn't dry on the cars.

I wash my harley truck with any ol' brand car wash and dry it off with a shammy-like thing called The Absorber and then use Meguir's ultimate spay wax. I only use the Wet Black kit maybe once every 2 months or so.

Yeah, x2 on the absorber. great investment, the hard water leaves all kinds of water spots and nastiness on a car, I hated that
