Two stang family moving to your area from Florida.....just found out!
Military has re-assigned us to Seymour-Johnson AFB, arriving in December 2011

A little about us:
My Wife and I have been into mustangs our whole life, owned 8 between the two of us over the years. She rebuilt her first mustang with her dad in high school ('87 Fox 5.0) My first car in high school was a 1972 Mach1 (RIP Sad

)

We met at a car show at the Summitt Racing wharehouse Tallmadge OH in Aug 2007. Her car was parked right behind my 2006 ROUSH stg2 (Had at the time, its gone now) I fell in love when we started talking and she said how she loved the new Mach1's cause of the aluminum block& the torque the 4valve had. This girl knows her mustangs!

Anyhow, we married shortly after and moved to FL. Bought a 2003 Mach1 and after a 2.5yr search found her dream car; 2003 Sonicblue Saleen Supercharged 5spd coupe. (she had a detailed wish list...turned out this is 1 of 2 like it) Keeping both Stangs registered in FL so I can dodge the emissions in NC I hope!?

Bringing them both to Goldsboro in December and looking to meet some other mustang enthusiasts. We are a big part of our club here in FL and will be looking forward to car cruises, poker runs and shows in NC.

Great looking rides! Welcom aboard! What kind of power are ya'll putting down? We have a TT Saleen being built as we speak and also a KB Mach. They should chime in shortly.

OMG I love that Saleen!!!! Sooooo clean!! and Sonic Blue!! Cannot wait to see it in person! What number is it?
I am the other Saleen owner; S281SC Coupe #02-532 in Colorado Red. Started out life with the Series II, after that a Procharger P-1SC and now I'm finishing up the twin install with a 6 speed and twin disc clutch.

the funniest thing about this thread is who you are...welcome aboard to WOT. i would like to share my story on how this is funny you made an intro on here today.

So there I was, at 0900 in my barracks room in Okinawa, Japan. I had an awful pain in my lower abdomen, so I did what was needed, went and sat on the can. But before I did, I grabbed an old 5.0 & Superfords magazine out of my desk to read while i took care of business so I don't get bored. Shuffling through the pages I re-read this article on pg 144 about this guy named Doug who searched high and low for a Sonic Blue Saleen and finally found it on July 29. 2009. Now at 1145 (local time here) I read this new intro thread, and holy shit, it's the same dude, along with his wife.
