there is a place here in Wilmington Called Probuilt Transmissions. Don't let the name fool you, it is just a transmission repair shop. Look them up, I use to service his shop but my company lost this account. Ask for Danny and tell him Chris from Cintas sent you if you check him out.

yeah well thats what i think too but while i have my trans out im thinking of going on and doing the 26 spline upgrade

Are you gonna pull the trans? As for the 26 spline input shaft it's 2 different jobs. 5th and 6th gear are in the tailhousing so the center section never comes apart. The input shaft is of course in the front so the bellhousing comes off. Just a FYI.

Sychro and blocker rings will be about $200. The blocker rings can be inspected to see if they need replacement though. This is only for 5th and 6th gear.
