Hello people,
Its me, Greg aka glittle75. Some of the older members may remember me, I used to drive a '98 GT, white, auto. I was in the club for the clubs first year, then had my daughter and sold the car. Kind of laid off the club, seeing as how I didn't have a Mustang, and everytime I saw one driving in my town I wanted one, so going to a place where there is a bunch of nice ones probly wasn't the best idea.
Either way, im back, at least for a little bit. And some of you might know, I bought Travis Beamon's car. The 2003 Azure Blue Mach 1. So now I am going to try to get back into it, work and kids permitting.
For those that don't know me or Travis, heres a little about me and the car. This is my Third Mustang, Had a 93 Hatch in highschool, 98GT after that up until about a year and a half ago, and now the Mach. I am undeniably in love with Mustangs, my grandfather's shop was my "daycare" as a kid, and he was always wrenching and racing his 1970 Mach 1 with the 351 and the Drag Pack. His was Red. Ever since then ive been hooked, and even have a "running pony" tattoo on my chest.
For the car, its a 2003 Mach 1, Azure Blue, 5-speed. Has alot of suspension work including a tubular K-member and A-arms, coilovers and C/C plates. 18" Saleen wheels, 18x9 front 18x10 rear. Car has a Kenne Bell 2.1 intercooled at 9psi. BBk TB, SLP L/T's, SLP X, and flows out back.
Im know theres more, but thats all the bigger stuff.
On to the pics!
yeah man, thanks for the warm welcomes back. Feels good to have another pony in the drive. Seems like the club has been doing pretty well since I got out of it. I told chris and crystal when I got another mustang i'd be back, lo and behold here I am.
Future plans for the mach? Thinking about getting rid of the flowmasters, maybe try out some bullet-style mufflers with a straight through design, I had the SLP LM2's on the 98, and I loved the sound, so im kinda hooked on that sound. Not getting rid of the rolled tips though, they are iconic to the Mach. Other than that, gonna try to get some rear suspension work done, and build up the rear end, I would hate to get on some radials at the track, dead hook and break something. Probly going to swap the 4.10's for a set of 3.73's. the 4.10's are a little steep for the KB.
then try to build a shortblock for it, and turn up the boost until the 2.1L runs out of breath, which im guessing will be not to far north of 650rwhp. But for now, just enjoy it, and get used to driving it, dunno if any of you guys have drivin it, but the clutch (mcleod RST) is real touchy in the car.
Greg, dude it has been to long!!! This is Chris just FYI, had a screen name change to match the new whip. Man is nice to have you guys back around!!! For all of you newer members, Greg was one of our first members back in the day and he has alot to offer the club. Have a lot of catching up to do man hope to see you very soon here! _________________

Great buy man! Nice to have you back, you planning on taking the Mach to the track to run it? _________________ 13.03@104.9 mph. ARH LT's, MAC O/R Prochamber, FRPP 4.10's Moroso Spiral Flows, GT500 STB.
