2011 RWHP.us TRACK DAY!
I am Happy to announce RWHP.us 2011 Track Day will be May 14th at Coastal Plains Dragway. This event is open to all RWHP.us members, all Horsepowerjunkies members and friends of. I urge all sponsors to come out and show support for the group! Food for the event will be a shared responsibility between members.
When:
May 14th, 2011
Gates open at 12:00pm - 4:30pm
Where:
Coastal Plains Dragway
4744 RICHLANDS HWY
JACKSONVILLE, NC 28541

COST:
$20.00 per person to race
$10.00 per person for spectator
Children under 12 get in free
All Nittos DRs and Street tires will only be allowed in the left lane. Drag Radials and Slicks will be allowed in both. I know it sounds crazy but this is the only way we'll have a hooking track all day long. We make the rules on this one guys.
Also I have add this...
Ok, I was thinking what would make for some good compatition at the track day.
$100...
to the fastest in their time class, 13sec...12 sec...11sec.. and so on. I will pull numbers at the end of the day and there will be $100 to an NA racer and $100 to an assisted racer. You must be present to win and must show atleast 3 time slips in that time class. For example no, 11.99 and a 2 12.01's. But if you can show 3 12.01's then thats good. Im not gonna try and keep guys from getting a personal best and take them out of the running. Also gonna pay $25 to the best 60' and $25 to the first to have a perfect reaction time.
$100 to 1 NA racer
$100 to 1 assisted racer
$25 to best 60'
$25 the 1st perfect reaction time
This is something I want to do. Now get yo shit running and together and get to the track day. |

| Shawn informed us today that the track has been repaired from a hit from a Promod. I am hoping that the rain will hold off or come early enough that the track can be dried and prepped for us. |
