Well, with the SCT tuners on the www.americanmuscle.com website, it says they come with 3 custom bama tunes and then free tunes for life. If you need a tune you go to their website, fill in your mods, they create a tune, email it to you and you load it in the tuner. I'm guessing they leave it unlocked or I read something wrong. The latter could definately be true lol. Here's the specific link. http://www.americanmuscle.com/x3-custom-tuner-0510gt.html Currently, I only plan on light mods, I have the axle back pype violators on the car already, and in the very near future I will have a JLT CAI and a SCT Tuner with BAMA tunes... maybe that gear i've been hearing about. Down the road maybe i'll go into some heavier mods but I think that will make me happy for a bit Smile

Yes once you have the X3 anybody that tunes with SCT can overwrite any existing tune.

once you get the tune, youll get one of the tuners e-mails, thats the only guy i talk to anymore, il ask him if i need to tune or not depending on what my mod is and if he says yes he ussually just sends me tune tune with the reply, thats all they do for a living so they have thousands of tunes saved.

AM is going to sell you a custom tune for your car and it'll be on par with any of the other tuners I mentioned, I just don't care for AM tuning is all.

if you are willing to spend a bit more money, i say get a mid pipe before your tune. a used mid pipe won't cost a ton and you can probably pick one up local, easy to install, and will get some more hp if you plan to get a tune with the CAI.

after that some 4.10s

Mid pipe, that the same thing as the H pipe or whatever it is lol? Goes from the cat back to the muffler? I suppose that's the good thing if I go for that SCT tuner, I can get a new tune if I add a mod.
