Picked up a O/R x pipe off of agent007 this evening, have axel-back violators on the car and a JLT CAI/SCT Tuner with custom bama toons on the way. It will be just a little while but what's the best mods to do next? I have 3.55 gears in the rear right now (way it came) and it's a manual tranny. Was looking at delete plates or maybe a 3.73/4.10 gear but just wondering if there is anything else I should do before I go down that road. Am looking for hopefully not super expensive stuff where I would see a pretty decent difference, if that exists lol.

You can make the delete plates for free. If you want to do them get up with agent007 again and see how he likes his. You'll need your tune updated if you do this.

Actually take with agent007 this eve when I bought the x-pipe off of him. Do the free ones work as well as the others? I did see a ford set for $140 that are supposed to be as good as others supposedly.... _________________

FRPP springs are best priced and are made by Eibach for Ford. _________________

Yes the free delete plates work just as good. Some say they aren't worth it some say they are. For springs I like the FRPP K lowering springs.

What do those do? Lowering springs? Improve ride? improve power to the ground or just handling or what lol? _________________

Mostly for cosmetics. They do help with the handling and brake dive. The ride will be a little stiffer, but not by much.

If you like a firmer ride plus a lower center of gravity then springs are the beez kneez. _________________

What about the "go" mods though? Want it lean and mean and then I can do some of the show mods. Probably do springs when i'm about ready for tires so I can go lower profile or would I need to do both to make it look right? _________________

If I were to build your car NA I would follow what Hollywood did before the cams. His car has gone 12.50's with more in it. Fastorange had a good NA setup also, but his had alot to do with weight reduction.
