So im new to the Mustang world, just bought a 10th Ann Cobra few weeks ago. Im lovin it so far, first supercharged vehicle ive ever owned, used to own a turbocharged vehicle but just traded it in for my Cobra. Unfortunatly im already having issues with the vehicle, it has 75k mi on it, and is extremely clean. Some of the issues im having ive never experienced on any other vehicle ive owned so i really have no idea as to whats actually wrong with it. Shortly after i bought it i noticed the inter-cooler reserior was bone dry, so i bought a bottle of Zerex G-05 concentrated coolant and literally went through the entire bottle in a weeks time, no leaks under the car at all, im thinkin theres a possible leak coming from the intercooler core under the S/C and in that case i know the coolant has to be gettin in the motor. Other things like when i drive in 6th gear sometimes has a tendency to throw itself out of gear and into neutral, im hopin my transmission isnt going out but im unsure. Anyways i have an appointment at National Speed tomorrow to get it checked out so hopefully she'll be running 100% after i get her fixed. Lookin forward to meeting all you Mustang owners, and gradually learning more and more about my Cobra as time goes on. If theres one thing i enjoy more than anything its an astounding adrenaline rush from pushin her to the limit!

That is definately Blkcoupe's old ride from the description. I don't remember him putting down anything near that HP though!

Welcome to the world of Mustangs!

Sounds like you might be losing a synchro and its causing the popping out of gear?

And teh intercooler is strange...have you checked the oil to see if its milky at all? That'd be my first step to find out if its leaking into the motor! I'd do it pretty quickly too!

Sounds like black coupe's car, I did the pulley so I remember that cold-air too, it was for sale at Stevenson.

An upper pulley only no ported blower will not make those numbers (maybe at the flywheel but it would be tough), sorry.

Stock intercooler runs about $600 to replace a few companies make aftermarket replacements.

So those numbers i was told, and ur all def right they were way off. I was kinda questioning that much power as well and im not to sharp at this quite yet. I semi believed it as Lethal performance suggest with the swap of a pully, intake, and a tune 100rwhp can be achieved. I re-posted the real numbers, talk to the guy who actually dyno'd it and found a print out. wont be long before im pushin that much tho hopefully, just have to get her fixed first.

Well the Black Coupe leaves the hands of one and returns to the nest in the hands of another.
