| I've got this installed on my cobra now and I can tell a big difference in performance in this weather. Past couple of days I've driven it in this nasty heat and the car never feels like it's pulling timing. Before after a short drive the IAT2's were so high that the car felt really down on power. So much that my 2011 felt like it was making more power. When datalogging the car I was seeing 116-120* IAT2's which were usually much higher. I'm still messing around with the pressures in the A/C to dial it in. I'm hoping I can get temps just a few degrees higher than ambient like others are, but I'm still happy with how it's performing. The biggest downside to all this are my cabin temps are much higher, which I'm hoping to take care of tomorrow. If I can get the A/C to cool like its supposed to this mod is worth every penny. |

Sweet! What are you going to do to lower your cabin temps? _________________

Joe (killer chiller inventor) told me to add a few more ounces of freon and I should be good. If this doesn't do the trick I'm going to insulate my lines, remove the heat exchanger, and try ES 12A refrigerant. I'll probably insulate my lines and remove the heat exchanger anyways or at least bypass it.
Anybody wanna buy an aftermarket heat exchanger? |

| I messed with it some today, but not much. It was plenty cold coming home in the rain though. I won't be able to mess with it any time soon though cause I have the eaton apart. It started grinding really bad today so I'm gonna do a rebuild. |

| Update: The killer chiller rocks! I datalogged my track runs last night and the car never pulled any timing at all, even when hot lapping the car. My intercooler fluid temps had to be 30-40 degrees last night. In fact while waiting for the motorcycles and 8th mile cars to make their passes I left my car idling to keep my intercooler fluid cold. My best ET and trap speed came from a full temperature car! |
