alright..so a deer unfortunately hit the side of my Bullitt a weel ago..and now i have to take her to the body shop to be fixed.. well i was thinking of going a little different..

Heres what she looks like now..

the front of the car currently has..
mach 1 grille delete w/o pony
mach 1 chin spoiler
35th anniversary hood stripe
4.6L hood vinyls
stock headlights

i wanted to go a little different.. i was thinking a 2.5" cowl hood.. and a cobra bumper..

so now the question..should i get a 01 or 03 cobra bumper?
i cant seem to find a 01 bumper anywhere!!!

ideas? opinions?

also..everyone has been getting on my case about it..but i was thinking of putting a Saleen spoiler on my bullitt.. i know its a bullitt..no spoiler.. but i put louvers on the rear window..and it just kinda drops off.. i was gonna install the s281 spoiler..

heres the rear now..

just ideas?

Thanks everyone!!!

I love the 01 cobra bumpers. A cowl hood will look good just don't get to big of one cause that looks stupid. A S281 swing will look a little odd on your car just because it hangs too far off the back and just wouldn't flow with the rest of the body. Look into a terminal spoiler or one of that size.

i just cant see paying the $600 at Americanmuscle.com for a lip spoiler for the 03 cobra

Not many Bullits around that I have seen. If it were mine, I'd keep it stock for exterior mods. It looks good the way it is to me. Besides, you can use that spoiler money elsewhere, IE performance mods.

I'd put a cowl on it and leave the rest stock.

When I said flow with the rest of the body I was trying to say that it wouldn't match the way the car "looks". To me the reason that the wing works on saleens is it matches the agressivness of the front bumper, hood and side skirts. I personally think it would look out of place with out more aggressive body panels and I just don't think a cowl hood and cobra bumper are it.

This is just my opinion though

I agree with Jeff on the cowl hood and rest stock, even loosing the louvers on the back window. Something that makes cars look different is "right rims". If you can swing the ching chang I would say some truforged rims. Like these!!!

well i always wanted louvers on all my mustangs..i just like the style of them. and i got these at a STEAL! so i went ahead and bought them.

as far as rims..i was thinking either 18" grey FR500s. or just to be different.. some WORK Emotions

I hear you on the louvers, the FR500'are nice but been done and wouldn't be different.
