Looking to get some new rims for the Cobra (Christmas) but unsure of what I want. Here are my choices:

1.Just stay with my current Chrome SVT rims but go with 10.5 rear rim. http://www.americanmuscle.com/17x105-03cobra-wheel-chrome.html

2.Matte Black FR500 17x9 and 17x10 with yellow pin stripe on outter edge/lip. http://www.cruizinconceptswholesale.com/proddetail.asp?prod=FR50017X10.5STEALTHBLACK27MM

3. Race star drag wheel with skinnies up front for racing only. http://www.americanmuscle.com/racestar-15x10-9404.html

All three choices will also mean I have to roll my fenders or raise the car some (not going to happen) but I think it will be worth it.

Yeah after long hard consideration about the CCW wheels for mine, I decided to go with the black 10.5 factorys. It's sleeper but looks so good at the same time. Chromies got my vote man!

If you get the 10.5 wheels, you can put your racing tires on your stockers and match at the track!

I can do that even if I get the Matte Black ones. I would use my stockers as my race wheels. Get a set of MT and some cheapo tires for the front. So here is my thoughts. I like the Matte Black espically with the yellow pin strip but everyone with Yellow does some kinda black on there car. The chrome SVT rims are awesome and the only chrome rim I like on a Mustang but I am wanting to be alittle different then stockish looking. I really wish I could see these rims on my car to help make my choice.

Does anyone on the site photoshop? If not, doesn't Mark photoshop? Send him some pics and let's see what all 3 would look like on your car.

Okay after seaching for hours looking for someone that has a similar idea I found a guy on SVTP that is pretty close. His rims are 5 start cobra rims but in gloss black which looks nice but I really thing the Matte black will look better plus FR500 IMO are a better looking then his 5 stars. Second his are not stagged which will again IMO will look better on the Cobra. A couple of things I will not do is black out my head or tail lights the only other black accents might be the emblems and the cobra bumper inserts. So what do you guys think? I still don't think this picture does justice to how it will look on my car but it is the closest thing I could find. I put pictures up of mine now and what it will look similar too just for contrast.

I agree, those rims in black don't look good. I have seen the all black fr500 on a red cobra and they looked amazing. This picture was just to give a idea of what I was shooting for.

I agree, those black rims look horrible. But I do believe that the black fr500 wheels with the pin stripe will good on ur car. I like the matt black and yellow my self. It would def add some touch over stock. I say go with the FRs, IMO.
