He wants to get bias ply slicks. Traction on those are much greater than radials. _________________

| Those radials hook very well he just mashes the pedal to the floor at least from what i saw at the track. Even the guy that was passing the time slips out said the same thing. |

| I did the same thing using kevins bias plys and hooked alot better. The 4.10's I got now really make the rpms go tons faster. |

different tires call for different launching methods. i haven't had any problems with the MT's, ran a 12.5 with them. you just need to learn to work with them _________________ 2010 Platinum Member

| yeah because your mashing the gas pedal. like slolime said they do hook you just got to ease off the pedal i think. i can show you a vid of you off the line if i can get it to download and let you see for yourself. |

Bias do hook better on hard hits, like with manual trannys, but it's 100% doable with radials. The class in 275RS runs 5.4X's in the 1/8 on 275x60 R15 radials. Most of those guys are launching off the transbrake too. If you have found a deal on some bias', then go for it; but I wouldn't loose too much money trying to get some. _________________
