Getting ready to buy a Bassani catback exhaust for the Cobra. Do I get the SS or the aluminized steel with SS tips? Does the aluminized steel rust more or what is the big difference? And that should bolt right up to the stock h pipe right? I want the 2 1/2" dia. tube? I don't know jack about exhaust except the sound that I like that won't piss off the neighbors too much.
Getting ready to have the smaller pulley, heat exchanger, MGW short shifter with Cobra Bob's gaskets and the exhaust put on and it will need a tune. Any suggestions on where to take it to get all this done and the tune? |

The stainless will look sharp and it wont oxidize and look all funny. The aluminized steel is the regular piping that comes factory on the car.
It will bolt straight up to the factory H, 2 1/2 is what you want, that is also the factory size piping, you'll want that if you are keeping the stock H.
Fastlane is about 1 1/2 hours away. They do all of my big work that I cannot do and Caleb is awesome at tuning. If you wanted to save some money I can do everything except the pulley and tune for you at my house. I don't have a pulley remover lol _________________

I wouldn't mind having Fastlane do the tune, but aren't they super busy & the car would be down for some time? It's my DD. Caleb tuned a friend of mine's Bullitt & I've heard he is good. _________________

Those mods don't need a tune right away, so after they are done, call and set up a time and day and just take it up there and it'll take him about an hour to do it _________________

Ok sounds good. I'll order the exhaust today from Holcomb motorsports. The mgw short shifter & gaskets are on their way. Should be here by the 29th. I already have everything else. _________________

| I've got stingers on mine and they sound great! They are the best sounding exhaust IMO. |

Well It might be too late now. I guess I can try them in the morning.
Anyone have dealings with Lightning Force Performance before? That's where I found the Borla Stingers. I looked on SVT Performance and some people have had problems with them. _________________

That is anywhere you go some people just have bad encounters. I've dealt with LFP on a regular basis and been treated well every time. _________________
