Well it was long and black a gave me a lot of joy............get your head out of the gutter!!! Today I traded in my 2008 F-150 crew cab for a 2010 Jetta TDI! Actually I did it for Crystal to have a much better DD since her commute is pretty long. Her old DD will become mine for a few weeks until we sell it so I can find a smaller truck. This move is going to save us a lot of money in car payment and gas!!! This car is rated at 42 mpg and from what I hear can achieve in the 50 mpg range if driven right. Plus I myself will be traveling more soon when we open up P-51 performance so a smaller truck is best for me when this happens. I am going to miss that truck but with a 13 mpg town and 18 mpg hwy I am sure my wallet won't!!! Sigh Confused hard to do it but had to be done.

Yeah putting up for sale tomorrow. Hope it sells soon! Thinking of a Ford ranger but leaning towards a Nissan fronter (4 cyc).

So was my truck! Actually we got lucky and almost bought a "Metallic Blue" which we was settling for because we wanted one in Red. Well last night we found this one online and the rest is history. I am going to convert the appearence over to GTI so hopefully this time next year it will look sportier!

Congrats on freeing up some cash Chris. If you go with a Nissan Frontier, at least consider Suzuki's version that is built by Nissan for a few grand less.

Really? I actually was thinking I got rid of the GAS HOG for a GAS GETTER. And trust me I wasn't happy about it but in the end I am freeing up cash for some mods to my AMERICAN MUSCLE car.......just sayin'. Oh and just fyi it might be import but it was an AMERICAN that sold it to me! There is going to be an AMERICAN who will be turning wrenches on it when it needs oil change and tires rotated......again just sayin'! Sorry if I took your post the wrong way but not sure what that is suppose to mean?

Thanks Josh, haven't even put up the cooper for sale yet. Once it is sold will be on the look out for a SUV or light pick up.
