Going to change the plugs when I get back and flush all the fluids and change them out just for piece of mind when I get back. I dont know really anything about brands of spark plugs but I found some NGK Iridium IX Performance plugs for $70 that I figured I would get. Is there a site that sells aftermarket plug wires? AM only sells wires for the V6 that are 8.8mm....What size can I get and where can I get them shipped to my house from.
Thanks Yall! |

| You don't have wires and the stock coils are what you want to keep. For plugs I'd just use some cheapo autolite's. |

| There's no need to get the expensive plugs unless you just want them to last longer (platinum plugs). On a FI setup you want the cheap copper plugs so they are the weak link if there's some sort of problem. The cheap plugs will melt and might save your engine. |

| X2 for TR6 copper plugs. They have held up very well after all the abuse I have given them this year. |

| I would go with a stock plug if you're not going forced induction within 90 days. You'll have to replace them again if you don't. Either way you'll have to re-gap them for boost so it's worth getting new ones. |

Wait wait wait wait. OK I am gonna go ahead and say this just so yall know. I have done no work what so ever under the hood of my stang or any other ford for that matter. Its all been Chevy up untill now.
Ok I am confused as hell. I am sticking with the stock coilpacks. I have seen aftermarket ones that put out double the voltage of the stock but dont see a need for a change, if I am changing my spark plugs because the stock ones probably havent been replaced since new ( 37k miles ) what does that have to do with my coil packs being replaced........TEACH ME! |

| Alright so if I am reading this diagram correctly the spark plug is directly under the coil pack? Hence the name coil-on-plug ignition system |

Yep, you'll have to re-gap them at least and it would be best to go ahead and replace them anyways. TR6s will work for you when you get the blower on, but go ahead and get motorcraft stockers for now.
For the coils, stay with the stock ones. I am pushing almost 700 hp on the stockers. Had a set of Weapon-X (which is a true coil on plug design, instead of the "coil near plug design") lasted me about a year before two of them went bad. |
