Been doing alot of research on suspension set ups and have to ask some personal opinions/ advice.
First off who is better? MM K member kit comes with what looks like everything I need for $1700 ( the street/strip package ). UPR comes with a lot less but is only $699. Just because I am picky I would like to have all my suspension parts the same brand or atleast from the same source.
secondly how do you determine what spring rate you want compared to how you drive. Wouldn't mind it being an all around car with a little bias to the 1320.
MM seems better but not really sure whether its like SLP and everything is high price but not necesarily better then other brands.
Anyone running products from either of these sites/companies?
Thanks!!! |

He is sponsored by UPR and holds many records with smooth straight runs in a Mustang Turbo...
Here is a pic of a car we put full UPR under...
90 Model 400hp 5 speed 3.73gears 26"slicks 4000rpm Launch coming out straight...(10.98 that run)

| Thats rediculous! lol well why UPR though, are their parts superior to MM in some sort of way? MM seems kinda like a whole saler with all the different packages but than again I have never hear one wrong thing about MM and they are pretty much the only suspension dealer I hear about period. |

From my experience, the UPR was well made, dependable and relatively cheap compared to other suspension like MM. MM IMO makes the best accessories for CC adjustments and such. UPR from my experience made me feel like "I got my money worth" _________________ [img][/img]

| I have heard about some fitment issues with upr's k-members.... I owned one of there full k- member setups before and it all looked high quality, but due to a wreck I had to sell them to finance the rebuild of the previous mustang. |

| Well the fitment of the Forward Facing Turbo kit from On3performance is based off of how it fits with the UPR K member so that is the main reason I asked. Well guess I better get to writing another list of all the crap I am gonna need. |

| I have a UPR k and A's on the mach, travis installed them, and when he got it he had NOTHING but good things to say, and even tried to convince me on getting on for my 98 at the time. looking at it and driving with it, i can say it works great and the car handles amazingly with it vs. a stock one. Me personally, i think the MM vs. other brands is more of a 'i paid more so it must be better' argument. ive never heard of any upr stuffs breaking or not doing what it was advertised for. and i cruise alot of forums, as im sure we all do. |

If it is based on fitment with a UPR k-member then you should probably get that K-member. I have one in my race car and I have never had any fitment issues with the ones I have sold and I have pushed 100's through the door. |

I thought a PHB or a Watts link got rid of upper control arms? The little research that I did said upper control arms are quite possibly the worst thing ford did with the suspension on the mustangs.........
and I know the on3 kits are cheap but I am not gonna spend 9k on a turbo set up when I got the car for 10k in the first place lol if something breaks because its cheap ill replace it. |
