I am always looking at what is for sale and it seems to be that alot of the early to mid 90's Cobras are for sale for pretty cheap?

Ayone tell me the major downfalls of that year cobras??? Seen a few for sale making well over 500 to the wheels at an extremely nice price.

Thanks

Gotta be more specific. 93 cobra was a fox body, 94-95 cobra's had the gt40 pushrod engine and in 96 they came with the dohc 4.6. I would consider all these early to mid 90's cars.

you can make the DOHC cobras of the 96-98 range pretty quick. Hell alot of guys do bolt-ons, deep gears and spray and run some good times in them. The main difference is they have a solid rear from the factory, where as 99+ have IRS. and the 96-98s have the B-head DOHC motors, and a different intake. The later 99-up DOHC all have the C-(Tumble Port) Heads. They flowed alot more and were alot more efficient than previous years. They made 305hp factory, the 99+ made 320hp. Mostly the reason you dont see alot of them is alot of people just HATE that body style. I personally love it, and think it is the best looking of all post-foxbody styles. They are not bad cars, and can make some big HP, especially on Turbos.

I have to hope its still for sale when I get back lol and then find a way to sell the GT and then get Navy Fed to give me 24k for it. I think I would get bored with it though since there isn't much more to do to it

Shit if the car is running with no issues I wouldn't mind getting it already to go like that!
