That is probably the best advice I have gotten. Well my original plan was to go to School of Automotive Machinists in Houston, Texas. It seems like a legt school but then I talked to a few people that actually went there and they all said just go straight to a speed shop and get to it. Any good diesel shops in the wilmington area?

Ive heard alot of good things about SAM, the only thing about schools like that, wyotech and such. is you wont get any 'real' credit for going to them. not like a degree or anything that will hold water with anyone. so far as looking for diesel jobs, web searching will probly be your best bet. If i end up getting out, LM or boeing will probly be the first choices. why throw away years of OJT and experience.
