When I put on the new TB and plenum, it won't affect the car negitvely without that tune will it?

no, not at all. a tb/plenum isnt really to much of a power gain. when i got mine, all i noticed was a little better throttle response.

It might lean you out alittle but nothing to worrie about. Depends on size of the tb?

honestly man, i would save money and go for a 70mm, 75 is a lil much for the stock plenum, its like a funnel, big TB and your 68-70mm plenum.

and theres not much gain in a 75 over a 70 anyways, like none at all. but thats just my 2 cents.

i just got a 70 mm b/c i found it at a swap meet in raliegh for 20 bucks, when i nstalled it i took the plenum off and cleaned the casting flash crap on the inside of it up a little with my dremel.

Yeah, I see what you are saying, The thing is, it was a package with the Plenum and TB together, that's the only reason I went with the 75 instead of 70.

o ok man, yeah slap it on the car, you'll notice it a little in throttle response, and you wont need a tune. if you allready have a tuner, you can add a little gas at WOT to help it going lean a little bit, but you wont need to.

my xcal3 lets me change tht and alot of other stuff too.

Ok, got it in. It sounds like a freakin blow-off valve sucking that much air. One problem, my idle sticks around 1500 for a couple of seconds then goes down to normal......????

It broke two bolts off, one on the EGR mount and one on the Idle control valve, I had to silicone the air gap it made on the EGR and the ICV is fine.

if the idle is hanging you are going to need some adjustments.... TPS, Timing, IAC all need to be set up... adjusting one generally affects the others. you will also need to get the bolts replaced

I wish my other parts would get in, I'm waiting on my livewire to get here before I mess with it.
