Well the hood will not close as of now with the blower and bracket in the way. The hood will have to be cut out around the bracket, just another problem to this damn build. It's an endless process.

Find out how much lower the engine needs to sit and see if you can use these. This is the first I've heard of a hood having clearance issues, but I've not seen many F1 blower setups either.

i think maybe when the trans is in it will level out the motor and provide enough clearance. also it may be my style hood. I can't use those motor mounts due to the tubular k member in there. hoping it will work out.

so i jumped on S197 Forum and discussed my situation with another guy who runs the same setup as me on a 2005 just like mine. He said he knows for a fact that there are a few pulley sizes that will not allow a stock hood to close. and with mine being a dual ram air, I don't know if the curve in mine has interferance as well. I just need to find out the pulley size. We'll figure it out, if we have to cut the hood a little, no big deal, I'll make it a smooth cut and not make it look like shit
