| If it is a whole cluster it should be plug and play... 15-20 minute install.... but keep in mind that milage is stored in the cluster so if it is new will probably read 0 if used..... well who know? Which will affect resale of the car since milage is reported to the state by the inspection facility... and from what I have heard will soon determine registration cost for each vehicle..... Greedy a$$ state that we live in! |

No joke, this state sucks. I thought that the computer stored the vehicle's mileage, so when you put in the new cluster it would automatically be sent to the odometer, the joy of digital?? _________________

| some of the NEW NEW car also store milage in the computer..... but that info is not sent to the cluster... there are shops that are certified to do speedometer repair and have the capablity to change the milage on the cluster but I don't know which ones or where to even look... I do know that milage tampering is a federal offense with heavy fines and jail time.... changing the cluster is not an offense but if it is not certified by one of those shops you may have an issue with "carfax" and title may get listed "TMU" true milage unknown.... Just some food for thought. |

I will look at those Chris, just want something a little different, the black is monotinus. Dan, that is good fuel for thought, I'll make some calls and see who in the area is certified to do that. _________________
