I am not the best at power shifting but when you do it right it make a big difference in the 1/4 and even on the streets.

Basically to power shift from 1-2 or 2-3, instead of lifting off the gas as you engage the clutch and shift gears, you hold the gas down as you engage the clutch to shift. This will keep you RPM's up which keeps you in your higher power range as you get it into gear.

When I did this for the first time on the streets, I notice a big surge forward when I got into gear. Now you have to be careful cause you can get sideways easy. The hardest gear to shift to hit is 2-3 but is the best place to shift on the 1/4.

And you got to be quick with the shift's or you will be bouncing off the red line all day long...
Try shifting at 1000 RPM increment's till you get the swing of it ...

So i take it powershifting doesnt really hurt the clutch if spy don't do it regularly? Also when you go to the track now do you do it?
