So got home from work today and car ran fine but when I got out notice a trail of antifreeze behind the car!! Popped the hood and there was a pool of fluid at the base expansion tank cap. First thought was cap wasnt sealed and had heard this to be a issue with cobras. Called Jeff and he figured the same too. Turned the cap a couple of clicks and leak seems to be fine for now. Going to get new cap this weekend.

Those caps do wear out after a while. I think there is a seal in there that just wears out after a while. Time to upgrade tanks! Lol!

Mine did the same thing a couple months ago. I changed the cap and haven't had any more problems. I am changing out the tanks though, as soon as I get them back from powdercoating.

Where did you get them powder coated? How much? What color? White would be sick!

Area 51, $75, Gray

I hate white! Lol. Debated on getting black with a metal flake or black crinkle, but decided that the contrast of the gray would look better since I have all the CF under there.

I don't know yet. It doesn't really matter I guess, since most of it will be covered in padding.

Got the Cap yesterday so all should be good. I drove to work the day before with the orginial cap and no problems but not going to take any chances and just got a new one. Eventually going to get a new expansion tank.
