If anyone didn't see it or wasn't at the last Civil Wars/Club Wars, this is my new to me tow rig. Its a 1997 F-250HD Crew Cab Short Bed. They were only made in 96-97, so its a kinda rare truck. On top of that its a Powerstroke truck, an XLT with all options except automatic transmission. Its 4x4 and will be getting manual lockout hubs. Here are a few pics of with my coupe and trailer.

I love the older trucks. Only issues are the are more difficult to mod, more expensive to fix and harder to find parts for. Otherwise its not the same ol' SuperDuty body style like everyone has.

So far this truck has a 3" downpipe, 5" cat back and stainless tip, Superchips tuner, DIY CAI. Looking into an Edge tuner and intercooler. Then on to a SD turbo, manifolds, intake and charge pipes.

I don't think I've ever seen a 4 door short bed before.

You have now Smile

I was wanting a 4x4 Powerstroke after I sold my 87 GT so I went on the hunt. My list of had-to-haves were Powerstroke 6.0 or 7.3, Crew Cab, Short Bed, 4x4, manual transfer case. I really didn't want a old body style over a SD body style, but this one came up on the web, had all my wants and was in my price range.

My dad had a tan one when I was in high school and it was hands down the sweetest truck at school when he let me drive it. Awesome!

Looks fun not being a long bed, just use to seeing them like that, but looks good and clean.
